Gel for external use Trocimetacin is a combined drug. The composition includes troxerutin, which belongs to the group of angioprotectors, helps to improve microcirculation and reduce the permeability of blood vessels, and indomethacin, which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that has a local analgesic, anti-inflammatory and decongestant effect.

Indications / Application Notes
For symptomatic treatment: - in the complex treatment of chronic venous insufficiency lower extremities (varicose veins) - to relieve swelling, feelings of heaviness and pain in the legs; - superficial thrombophlebitis, phlebitis; postphlebitic conditions; - rheumatic damage to the soft tissues: tendovaginitis, bursitis, fibrositis, periarthritis; - postoperative edema, concussion, dislocation, sprain
- ypersensitivity to the components of the drug; - hypersensitivity to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs); - III trimester of pregnancy and the period of breastfeeding; - children's age up to 14 years (due to lack of clinical experience application); - violation of the integrity of the skin. With caution: the simultaneous use of the drug with other NSAIDs, bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, polyps of the nasal mucosa.
Mode of application
Gel is applied externally. 3-4 times a day by rubbing the gel with a thin layer into the skin of painful body parts. The amount required for one rubbing is about 4-5 cm squeezed from a tube of gel. The total daily amount should not exceed 20 cm of gel. The duration of treatment should not exceed 10 days.
The tolerability of the drug is usually very good. Local reactions: symptoms of hypersensitivity on the part of the skin may occur - contact dermatitis, itching, redness, rash, sensation of warmth and burning in the place of use.
The drug should be applied only to intact skin areas, avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. After applying the drug, do not apply an occlusive dressing. In case of contact with eyes, mucous membranes or open wounds local irritation is observed - tearing, redness, burning, pain. Necessary measures in this case - washing the affected area with copious amount of distilled water or saline to disappearance or reduction of complaints. Sodium benzoate and dimethyl sulfoxide contained in the preparation as excipients may be irritating to the skin.
Gel for external use. 40 g in aluminum tubes, with an internal varnish coating, lithographed outer surface, membrane and sealing ring, with polyethylene screw cap. Each tube together with instructions for use are placed in a cardboard box.
