Drugs
Nayatoks ointment for external use contains the venom of an ordinary cobra, which has local irritating and analgesic effects. Applying ointment to painful areas locally dilates blood vessels and improves tissue nutrition, has a distracting effect.
Composition
Active ingredients: dry venom of the cobra ordinary 12 MUA (mouse units of action), methyl salicylate 4.0 g, camphor 3.0 g, eucalyptus oil 2.0 g (equivalent to 1.4 g of cineole). Auxiliary components: Vaseline 81.0 g, beeswax 10.0 g.
Indications / Application Notes
Ointment used externally for arthritis of various etiologies, osteochondrosis, neuralgia, myalgia, sciatica, radiculitis, damage to the ligamentous apparatus (sprains, bruises without damaging the integrity of the skin) and other diseases of the musculoskeletal system, accompanied by pain.
Contraindications
Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug, skin diseases and mechanical damage to the skin at the places of application of the ointment, thrombophlebitis, active pulmonary tuberculosis, fever, general exhaustion, severe impaired liver and kidney function, impaired cerebral and / or coronary circulation, angiospasm (in tons h. in the anamnesis), pregnancy and the period of breastfeeding, children under 6 years old.
Mode of application
OUTSIDE! Ointment is applied to the skin of painful areas 1 time per day from 5 to 10 g (1-2 teaspoons of ointment) in parts and rubbed into the skin, with severe pain - 2 times a day until the pain disappears. The course of treatment should not exceed 10 days without consulting a doctor. After applying the ointment, wash your hands thoroughly to avoid getting the ointment in the eyes and other mucous membranes.
Side effects
In isolated cases, allergic reactions from the skin (redness, itching, rashes) that disappear after stopping the use of the drug are possible! If any adverse reactions occur, discontinue use of the drug and consult a doctor.
Special instructions
It is not recommended to use the drug in childhood without consulting a doctor. Avoid getting ointments on open wounds and mucous membranes. In case of careless ingestion of ointment on the mucous membranes of the eyes, they must be washed with plenty of water.
Release form
Ointment for external use; 20 g of ointment in an aluminum tube. One tube with instructions for use is placed in a cardboard box.
Storage conditions
In a dry, dark place at a temperature of 15-25 °C. Keep out of the reach of children.
